Stephen Curry, the greatest shooter in NBA history, has taken three-point shooting to a new level.

During the Golden State Warriors game against the Brooklyn Nets, Curry hit his 3,500th career three-pointer, making him the first player in league history to record that many in a career.

It comes some 14 years after his first three-pointer and two years after smashing the NBA’s record for the most three pointers.

Landmark moments

Curry’s first three-pointer in his NBA career came on October 30, 2009, against the Phoenix Suns. On December 14, 2021, Curry made his 2,974th career three-pointer, surpassing Ray Allen’s long-standing record of 2,973.
